But, Wheeljack defeated all the Vehicons before the other Autobots could help him. The Autobots pick up his signal, once again and Arcee, Bumblebee and Bulkhead Groundbridge to where Wheeljack is to save him. When Wheeljack arrives somewhere on Earth he is attacked by Vehicons. Meanwhile, Starscream sends a Decepticon named Makeshift on a mission, to pretend he is Wheeljack in order to locate the Autobot Base. Bulkhead and Wheeljack went on many adventures together and were part of the Autobot warrior fighting group The Wreckers. Wheeljack is Bulkhead's best friend back on Cybertron. When the Autobots recieve a signal from a starship which has entered the Earth's Solar System the owner of the starship is intentified as Wheeljack. The final scene shows that there is a spider and Miko is scared. As Ratchet and Optimus talk as how strong the humans had been Miko screams in fear. When the Scraplets enter the Arctic they freeze to death and Optimus and Arcee return back to HQ. But the Scraplets attack and Bulkhead makes a distraction leading the Scraplets into the Ground Bridge. Raf, Miko and Jack fix the Ground Bridge successfully and Ratchet is able to open the Ground Bridge. The Ground Bridge isn't working because the Scraplets had chewed a big whole in it. If Ratchet does not open the Ground Bridge Optimus and Arcee will die. While Optimus and Arcee contact HQ to return back there is no answer and the two Autobots are stuck in the Arctic. Ratchet finds out the pod that Bulkhead and Bumblebee had found was a Scraplet trap which had been sent into space many eons ago and landed in the Arctic. The Scraplet attacks the Autobots but is defeated. They explain that the tiny being is a Scraplet, a small metal eating robot. The Autobots jump in fear as they see the robot. He shows Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Ratchet the robot. When the humans come over to Autobot HQ Raf finds a tiny metal robot.
Optimus and Arcee later go on patrol back in the Arctic. When Bumblebee and Bulkhead go to the Arctic they find a Cybertronian Pod. Will Optimus be able to regain his status as the last of the Primes and return to lead the Autobots with the help of one human teenager? Optimus must unleash the power of the Matrix from within himself, which comes at a great personal sacrifice: he loses the knowledge of all the Primes before him, and reverts to his historical librarian self, Orion Pax, who has no recollection of being the leader of the Autobots. Together, they journey deep into the heart of the planet to put UNICRON to rest once and for all. While the Autobots are skeptical, Optimus Prime realizes it's the only way to save his human friends, including the teenaged Jack Darby.
Megatron, angry that UNICRON finds him unworthy, offers up a truce to the Autobots in order to defeat UNICRON and save humankind. Optimus has reached his breaking point with Megatron and must face him for a rematch of their first battle royale. The Autobots, led by the honorable Optimus Prime, are taking care of their human friend Raphael, who was struck by a bolt of Dark Energon lightning while riding with Bumblebee. Meanwhile, the Dark Energon is spewing from the Earth and causing mass natural catastrophes, including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves, and severe climate change. However, UNICRON wants nothing to do with Megatron. Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, has slowly harnessed the power of the Dark Energon, and is ready to claim power with UNICRON. The evil force of UNICRON has awakened deep within the Earth.
This DVD takes place at the end of the first season of Transformers Prime.
